High Resolution Anoscopy

High Resolution Anoscopy (HRA) is a specialized exam of the anal canal and surrounding skin. Magnification helps your provider find abnormal cells, precancerous changes, and early signs of anal cancer.

A closer look. Earlier detection. Better protection.

Your anal health is an important part of your overall health. Certain infections, including HPV, can cause changes in the cells of the anal canal that may not cause noticeable symptoms at first. High-Resolution Anoscopy, also known as HRA, gives your healthcare provider a detailed view of the anal canal and surrounding tissue so abnormal areas can be identified early.

At Pineapple Healthcare, HRA is performed in a supportive, confidential, and judgment-free environment. Whether you were referred after an abnormal screening result, have a history of HPV-related changes, or your provider recommends additional evaluation based on your health history, our team is here to explain the process and help you understand your next steps.
